Kevin Stahl
Composer

     Kevin Stahl is a Philadelphia area composer who is both a free-lance composer and the in-house composer for Idryonis Studios, Kevin has completed hundreds of projects for games, amusement parks, video productions, and dance productions. He is a member of the Recording Academy and the Film Music Network.

     While specializing in dramatic orchestral scores, Kevin maintains a strong focus on the emotional aspect of music. From subtle underscore to soaring symphonic themes, his first priority is creating or amplifying emotion.

     Kevin has a Bachelor of Music from the Maynard Ferguson Institute of Jazz at Rowan University and has been studying advanced music theory, music composition, and orchestration ever since. His portfolio of professional work continues to grow and includes unique commissions for clients such as Virgin Galactic, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and Entertainment Technology Corporation, among others.

     Kevin works in a newly-built facility at Idryonis Studios that utilizes state of the art technology to accommodate the most demanding composing and recording situations. In the hi-tech composing studio, Kevin can compose MIDI mockups of full orchestral cues that can give any director or producer a true sense of the finished score.

     When budget dictates, the MIDI mockups can be mixed, mastered, and sent to a dubbing stage to be used as the final mix. For higher budget productions, music copyists can transform the music into parts to be sent to a scoring stage for a live orchestra recording.
